Privacy controls

Bredbox gives you separate controls for taking your data with you, starting over, and closing your account. All of them live in the Privacy section of Settings, and the destructive ones ask you to confirm by email so a stray click never costs you your library.

For what Bredbox collects and how it’s used, see the Privacy Policy.

If you may need your saves later, export your data first:

  1. Open Settings → Exports and request an export. See Export your data for the formats.
  2. Download the ZIP file when it’s ready.
  3. Confirm you can open the file before clearing or deleting anything.

Clear data removes your library contents but keeps your account.

  1. Open Settings and find the Privacy section.
  2. Under “Clear my Bredbox data”, choose Clear data.
  3. Confirm the request, including the confirmation step Bredbox emails you.

Clearing data is for cases like:

  • Starting over with a fresh library
  • Removing old saves before a new workflow
  • Keeping your account and billing history while deleting saved content

Delete account permanently closes the account.

  1. Export anything you may want later.
  2. Open Settings, find the Privacy section, and under “Delete my Bredbox account” choose Delete account.
  3. Follow the confirmation link Bredbox emails you. The deletion is queued only after you confirm — this protects you from accidental or unauthorized requests.

Make sure you can access the account’s email address before you start, since the confirmation arrives there.

If a trial or subscription expires, your account enters read-only mode — your data stays put and export keeps working. Expired read-only accounts may eventually be deleted after the retention period shown in the app’s billing flow.
