Send to Offprint

Offprint prints the articles you choose in a monthly magazine. Bredbox can add articles from your library to your current Offprint magazine.

Bredbox doesn’t send Offprint the article itself. It tells Offprint which saves you picked, and Offprint reads each one from your Bredbox library through the connection you approved.

You can send to Offprint once your Offprint account is connected to Bredbox. Until then, Send to Offprint is disabled in the Send To dialog, and the dialog says your account isn’t connected.

Settings → Integrations → Offprint shows whether your account is connected. If Offprint needs you to connect your account again, it shows Needs reconnecting, and you can’t send until your account is connected again.

  1. Open Send To… on one save, or select several and select Send To in the bulk actions bar.
  2. Choose Send to Offprint and select the Send to Offprint button.

Bredbox confirms how many articles it queued and how many were already on their way. Offprint texts you once for each send, however many articles it holds, when it has read them.

Only articles can go to Offprint. The Send to Offprint option doesn’t appear for recipes, videos, PDFs, images, or saved emails, for a save Bredbox couldn’t read the content of, or for a save in Trash. In a selection that mixes them, the dialog tells you how many will be skipped, and the rest still go.

Sending an article that is already on its way to Offprint doesn’t send it twice.

  • Up to 50 articles at a time. If your selection has more, the dialog tells you how many to deselect.
  • Up to 60 articles an hour. If a send would go over, the dialog tells you how many you can send now, or how long to wait.

Open Settings → Integrations → Offprint. It shows whether your account is connected and lists your Offprint history, newest first. The list updates on its own while the page is open.

Each row is one thing that happened, so an article can appear more than once: first when you sent it, then each time Offprint reported on it. The time on a report comes from Offprint.

  • Pending: Bredbox is sending the article, or Offprint is reading it.
  • Sent: Bredbox sent the article and Offprint has reported on it. Look for a newer row with what happened.
  • Added: the article is in your Offprint magazine.
  • Removed: the article was taken out of your Offprint magazine.
  • Failed: the article didn’t make it into your magazine. The row says why, for example that Offprint can’t print it, or that Offprint couldn’t read it and has texted you the reason.

To try a failed article again, send it again from Send To.

  • Bredbox: you sent the article from Bredbox.
  • Offprint: Offprint chose the article from your Bredbox library itself, without a send from Bredbox.

The Magazine column shows the issue the row is about, such as November 2026. It’s empty on a row that doesn’t involve an issue, such as Sent or Failed.

Selecting an article’s title opens it in Bredbox, unless the save has been deleted or moved to Trash.

Bredbox keeps your Offprint history for 180 days.

Open Settings → Applications and disconnect Offprint, as you would any other application. Offprint can no longer read your library, and articles still on their way are marked Failed. Your history stays in Settings → Integrations → Offprint.

If your subscription lapses, Settings → Integrations → Offprint still shows your history, but you can’t send to Offprint until a plan is active again.
